What the capacity test says
I put this generic green 4GB drive through the same ValiDrive check as the EATOP. It declared 4,026,531,840 bytes (4.03 GB), and ValiDrive validated that same amount. Its highest valid region matched too. On this check, the capacity is what the drive says it is.
The catch is the speed
It feels like using a flash drive from the early 2000s: you can move files, but you’ll want patience. That’s my experience with this drive, not a measured copy-speed benchmark. The ValiDrive report includes per-sample timing, but those timings shouldn’t be mistaken for an everyday transfer-rate test.
Our take
The honest capacity is refreshing alongside a drive that claims vastly more than our scan could validate. I’d consider this one for small, non-urgent transfers. I wouldn’t reach for it when I’m in a hurry or use a single old flash drive as my only copy of anything important.
