Information and third-party services

Privacy policy.

This policy explains the limited information associated with visiting Proof of Purchase and using its third-party features.

Information you provide

If you email us, we receive the address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, medical, or account information that is not needed for your request.

Website logs

The website host may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.

Comments through Disqus

Review comments are provided by Disqus. When the comment system loads or you post a comment, Disqus may collect information according to its own privacy policy, cookie practices, and account settings. You can read the Proof of Purchase Comment Policy before posting.

External resources and links

The site loads fonts from Google and icons from the Font Awesome content delivery network. Product listings, ReportFakeAds.com, Disqus, and other external links lead to services with their own privacy practices. We do not control those services.

Cookies and local storage

Proof of Purchase does not currently operate its own advertising cookie system. Third-party services embedded in or linked from the site may use cookies or similar technology. Browser settings and third-party account controls may let you limit them.

Data requests

For questions about information you sent directly to Proof of Purchase, email contact@proofofpurchase.org. Requests involving a Disqus account or comment data may also need to be directed to Disqus.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when site features or services change. The current version is effective September 23, 2026.
